Every trip runs to the standards of Maritime NZ's Maritime Operator Safety System. The boat carries a full safety kit and each trip is operated by a fully qualified skipper with public liability insurance in place.

The charter includes the skipper, boat and fuel. Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing gear. Rod hire is available, and bait and tackle packs can be purchased if you need them.
